Bed & Breakfast

Our standard rates include a European-style continental breakfast each morning. Plenty of options are available, and we will accommodate dietary restrictions as much as possible.

Checking in

​

Check-in is any time after 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am.

​

If you will be arriving after 9:00 pm, please call us with your expected arrival time so that we can meet you and show you up to your room.

 

If you arrive in town prior to 3:00 pm you are welcome to park your car in our parking area and walk to town to enjoy downtown Ridgefield while you wait for your room to become available. 

​

Deposits and cancellations

 

The full room rate (including tax) will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation.

​

We do not accept reservations more than one year in advance.

​

In the event of cancellation, we will apply your payment to a future stay for up to one year from your original reservation. Last-minute cancellations made within two weeks or less will not receive credit for a future stay or receive a refund. 

​

If you need to cancel your stay, please call The Fountain Inn and speak with an Innkeeper or email us at info@thefountaininnridgefield.com. Voicemails are not valid.

​

Standard suite reservation

​

Everything is included in the price of your stay. The bathrobes are provided for your enjoyment while you are a guest. If they are missing from the suite upon your departure, the credit card on file will be charged $125/robe.

​

Connecticut Room Occupancy Tax = 11%.

​

Please note that The Fountain Inn provides breakfast and use of the common areas only to our overnight guests unless special arrangements are made. Your reservation does not include the use of any part or all of the house for wedding preparation, photography, or inviting extra friends/relatives/children without the prior consent of the owners.

Renting the first floor

​

The first-floor rooms can be rented for five-hour blocks for special events, wedding photography, conferences, and more! The Salon and the Dining room can comfortably seat 24 - 30 guests.

​

Please speak to Laurice Haynes directly about renting first floor rooms.

​

Smoking

 

Smoking is not permitted in or out of doors at the Inn. Smoking, burning candles, or burning incense are not permitted in any of the rooms or common areas. If this policy is not honored, there is a minimum $250 charge to deodorize your room.

Health and Safety​

​

We take the health and safety of our guests very seriously to ensure a safe haven for you and
our innkeepers. An inherent risk of exposure to any illness exists in any public location
where people are present. By visiting The Fountain Inn, you implicitly assume all health risks
related therein. If you are feeling unwell, please consider postponing your visit to a later date
so that you can thoroughly enjoy your visit and so as not to put others at risk.
Please note that we will not enter your room for refreshing or cleaning during your stay. We
believe this is best for you and our staff.

Additional information

​

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 until 9:30 each morning in the dining room. You are welcome to take your breakfast to the outdoor patio. Afternoon tea will be available at 4:00 pm.

​

Additional person: $75 per night includes an additional rollaway bed, breakfast, and all guest room amenities.

​

Children: For the privacy and relaxation of our adult guests, only children over the age of 12 are welcome.

​

Outdoor activities must conclude by 11:00 pm per local restrictions.

​

Pets: Sorry, no pets.

​

Televisions: We have excellent Wifi for streaming on your devices, but there are no televisions at the Inn.


Due to the historic nature of our property, we are not handicapped accessible.
